Such a wonderful variety of fun patterns in these free Easter crochet patterns. Choose between crochet Easter baskets, crochet Easter bunnies, crochet Easter Egg cozies, Easter chicks, blankets, and home decor.
And many of these spring / Easter themed patterns use basic stitches so many of them are perfect for the beginner crocheter.

I love designing spring and Easter themed crochet patterns. The kids so delight in getting something special and homemade each year whether its a little stuffie or brand new Easter Basket for our little egg hunt each year.
I am so excited because this year a local chapter of the FFA (Future Farmers of America) have decided to offer a special fundraiser. They will fill eggs with candy and trinkets and then come the night before Easter to hide the eggs for the kids in the morning. Having so many kids coming each year it has become so time consuming to fill all of those eggs. Not to mention the fact that I usually have candy left over. And you know – someone has to eat it. 😉
So this way I get to take away the chore of filling while also supporting some local children. And I bet they have such fun doing this! I am so excited that I will get to enjoy the egg hunt this year!
Now I can enjoy decorating eggs with the kids instead.  I got a beginners Ukrainian egg decorating kit and I am really looking forward to trying our hand at this beautiful and traditional craft.  I think we are going to really enjoy exploring this beautiful tradition together.
