So simple and pretty made in just two colors! The Cross is a perfect addition to my Easter Blanket but would also be great as a wall hanging for your Easter decor!

Made with Caron Simply Soft yarn which gives it just the right touch of sheen and softness. The lovely pastel colors are perfect for spring.

Supplies:

Caron Simply Soft White 3 oz / 158 yds (w)

Caron Simply Soft — Soft Blue .8 oz / 42 yds (bl)

Size H/8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook

Tapestry needle

Scissors

Approximate finished size:

Approximate finished size:  13.5” x 13.5”

Gauge:  6 blocks = 4”

Abbreviations:

w = white
bl = blue
WS = Wrong side
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch

Pattern is worked in Double Crochet Corner to Corner (C2C) Crochet technique.  Written row by row instructions follow with color pixel graph below.

Row 1: 1w

Row 5: 5w  
Row 6: 6w  
Row 7: 7w  
Row 8: 8w  
Row 9: 9w  
Row 10: 10w  
Row 11: 1w, 3(bl), 7w  
Row 12: 8w, 2(bl), 2w  
Row 13: 2w, 3(bl), 8w  
Row 14: 8w, 3(bl), 3w  
Row 15: 3w, 4(bl), 8w  
Row 16: 3w, 3(bl), 2w, 3(bl), 5w

Once last row is worked, turn, ch 1, sc evenly around outside edge of square, working (sc, ch 2, sc) in each corner, sl st to top of 1st st.  Note:  each pixel square will have alternating 2 sc or 3 sc along the edge.  

Fasten off.  

Weave in ends.
