Crochet Bunny Behind square

This adorable bunny bottom is granny square #6 in my Easter spring Granny Square Blanket series. So cute you can’t help but smile!

If you missed the free crochet pattern for the Bunny Granny Square, Hatching Chick Granny SquareLamb Granny Square, Sun Square, Happy Sun Square or the Easter Basket square, you can find them all on the blog.  Square #7 is another cute baby chick that will be releasing in just a few days so be sure to check back for that one.

The great thing about the squares for this spring themed blanket is that they are so versatile.  Mix and match the squares for your own perfect spring blanket.  Make a blanket with just the Bunny face bottom in various colors for a fun blanket! What a perfect pillow these two squares would make – front and backside!

Crochet Bunny Behind Square Pattern Details

I am working this crochet bunny pattern from the same base pattern as my Christmas crochet granny squares.  All of the squares in this series work up to a large 14″ square.  Perfect for pillows or to mix-and-match for an adorable Easter spring themed throw!  These individual squares would also make wonderful wall hangings for your spring themed home decor.

This is a very easy square – perfect for beginners!  Starts with solid white in double crochet stitches which is then squared off for joining.

I then crocheted two round feet and added pink little foot pads which are sewn to the square. Then you will make a big fluffy yarn pom pom for his tail. Sew in place and all done!  Easy and fast!

I am using Red Heart With Love* yarn for my squares.  Red Heart With Love yarn is a medium weight #4 acrylic worsted weight yarn.  These granny squares would be a great way to use up your stash, too!
