This crochet woman Pilgrim Square is a free crochet pattern by Nana’s Crafty Home!

This delightfully sweet pilgrim lady has endearing eyes sparkling with stories of Thanksgiving feasts and cozy hearths. Framed by a classic bonnet, her sweet face beams with rosy-cheeked charm. Tucked beneath her chin is a jet-black ribbon and a radiant red flower adds a touch of color and vibrancy. This heartwarming pilgrim woman granny square is an ode to Thanksgiving tradition.

The base square for this crochet woman pilgrim is very simple – the center double crochet circle is made primarily in cream colored yarn with a couple of black rounds for her hat.

The hat brim, hair bangs, cheeks, eyes, flower and ribbon are crocheted separately and then sewn to the front of the square at the end. I did play around a bit with the placement for the ribbon ultimately deciding to sew it off to the side but it looks cute straight under her mouth as well.
