Crochet Penguin Blanket process before border

Using the mini hdc c2c stitch my blanket measures approximately 29 1/2″ wide x 42″ tall and it would be easy to make your blanket larger by using the standard dc (double crochet) c2c stitch instead.

2. For the border I decided on one of my favorite go-to stitches – hdc worked in the “hidden” third loop to add a polished, knit-like appearance to my blanket! Other border ideas for your penguin crochet blanket:

Granny Block Stitch Border
Pom Pom Border– fun bobble border!
Candy Cane Border – would add a fun festive touch!
