I will be releasing a new pattern in a few days for a C2C American Flag Placemat and I wanted to design a star that would look similar in style to the mini C2C that I am using for the pattern.

These are really fun, easy to make and work up quickly. And it is probably one of the simplest star patterns I have made!

I have also made a complete video tutorial which you can find at the end of this post below the free written pattern and photo tutorial.

If you are interested in learning more about the mini C2C technique I will be releasing a tutorial soon!

So many different applications for this little 2″ star! Make as appliqués for blankets, pillows, home decor items, Christmas ornaments or Holiday garland!

I used Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Cotton! for the placemat and it is also used in the video tutorial. One of my favorite economical go-to cotton yarns. So soft! However, any yarn you prefer would work just fine in this pattern. If you would like to make these stars larger, just use a larger crochet hook.
