This is Square #1 of the Gnome for Christmas C2C Blanket of the Christmas in July CAL (Crochet a Long) at Nana’s Crafty Home!
I just love all things gnome — Christmas or any time of the year! They are just so cute and fun and this blanket is probably one of my favorite C2C (corner to corner) designs so far!
If you are not familiar with the Corner to Corner (C2C) technique I have several photo and video tutorials which will help you get up to speed quickly. You too can make this adorable blanket! Just click on any of the links provided below to head on over to the tutorials.

And, if you need help in learning how to make a C2C Crochet Rectangle shape I have a complete photo and video tutorial for you that will show you how to decrease on one side while continuing to increase on the other!
I chose Paintbox Simply Aran for my blanket and I am so glad I did! This is my first experience with this yarn and I am so happy with it! It is really soft, easy to work with and the colors are vibrant and beautiful! Thank you to Love Crafts for providing the yarn for this project!
This pattern is also available as an ad-free, printable PDF! You can purchase the individual pattern, or if you love PDFs, you might want to check out my Lifetime Membership. It’s an awesome deal! Never pay for one of my PDFs again!! (or scroll down for the free version!)
Purchase the ad-free pdf of this pattern for a small fee at HERE. Thank you so much for supporting my work! Purchasing the pattern will be the only place the graph for the entire blanket will be available if you would like to make the blanket as one piece — no sewing panels together!
Even though this square is designed to be part of a larger blanket, I think it would be just adorable as a pillow or even a wall hanging! So perfect for your Christmas holiday decor.
