Crochet Koala C2C Blanket free crochet pattern

The Crochet Koala Bear C2C Graphgan Blanket is a free crochet pattern for an adorable crochet koala bear throw!

Crochet Koala Bear C2C Graphgan

This crochet Koala C2C Blanket is the cousin to the Panda C2C crochet Blanket I released earlier this year. My hope is that eventually you will have a “Wildlife Kingdom” set to include all of your favorite animals! This little guy certainly has a lot of character – and he almost seems to be in motion climbing his tree!

This blanket would be perfect for any koala bear lover or as a unisex baby gift. Especially fitting for a bear or wildlife themed nursery.

Crochet Koala Bear Graphgan Supplies

I used Hobby Lobby’s I Love this Yarn! for this blanket which is a medium 4/worsted weight yarn but you could certainly substitute your favorite yarn.

I made my crochet koala blanket with the mini half double crochet (hdc) technique so my blanket ended up being closer to a baby size blanket at 32″ x 37″. However, you could certainly use the double crochet (dc) technique to make the blanket larger.

Where do I find your spool holder? I can’t figure out how to keep my yarn from tangling with the method I’m using.

My husband designed this one for me – I don’t have it for sale on my website yet but if you are interested in it I can send you an email with details. It was a real c2c game changer for me! 😊❤️

Please, if possible, would you please send all info on your yarn holder. It is amazing.

        • Tonya Bush

Absolutely – just sent you an email!

Could you please send me the details of the spool holder your husband made. I just made the heart dishcloth to try my hand at this. I used cardboard spools that weren’t so great, but think what you have may be easier for all the colors in the koala blanket.

    • Tonya Bush

Thank you so much Leslie – I have sent you an email with all the details and additional photos of the yarn bobbin holder. 😊❤️

  3. Terry Hess

I love the pattern, could I get the details on your spool holder? I am doing a spiderman c2c for my grandson.

    • Tonya Bush

Thank you so much Terry! I have sent you an email with all the details of the yarn bobbin holder. 😊❤️

I would also like to say that I love your patterns. May I also have the details of your yarn holder for c2c? Thank you

With all of these people (and now me!) asking for the information on your bobbin holder, maybe you should save yourself some trouble and just put the information on line in a nice little tutorial, giving credit, of course, to your husband.

    • Tonya Bush

I completely agree Claudia – we are working on putting something together on this and will be providing that for the future! I have sent you an email. 😊

Am I over looking the rows? I do not see rows 52, 59 and 72 in the written section of the pattern. Please let me know if I am (Suspected) blind or careless?

  9. Marcia Douglas

    Oops. I mean row 56 not 59.

    • Tonya Bush

It looks like the post had some pagination problems – those rows were hanging out at the end of the previous row. I changed up the formatting and I think it is fixed now. Thank you so much – so sorry for any inconvenience!

Please, I too, would like details on your spool holder.
