Supplies:

Worsted Weight acrylic yarn

Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook

Abbreviations:

ch(s) = chain(s)
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
sk = skip
sp = space

Multiples: stitch is worked in multiples of 3 for foundation chain

Sample = 33 chains

Time needed: 1 hour

Wattle Crochet Stitch

  1. Row 1:

    (1 sc, ch 1, 1 dc) in 3rd ch from hook (skipped chains count as 1st sc), sk next 2 chs, *(1 sc, ch 1, 1 dc) in next ch, sk next 2 chs,* repeat between * * to last ch, 1 sc in last ch.  Turn.Wattle Crochet Stitch Photo & Video Tutorial Row 1

  3. Row 2:

  4. Continue repeating row 2 to desired size.
