This stitch was designed specifically for the Spring Rhapsody Blanket and it turned out to be one of my very favorite stitches – I am sure you will be seeing this stitch again in at least one of my future designs!
In designing the 4 different flower stitches for my Rhapsody Blanket designs – the Sunflower & Mum Flower stitches for my Autumn Rhapsody Blanket as well as the Cherry Blossom and Magnolia Stitches for the Spring Rhapsody Blanket – I wanted a design that would be worked as part of the blanket rather than sewn on as an applique later.
The Magnolia Flower is created with large puff stitches which really makes the flower stand out from your project – an eye catching, beautiful stitch!
