The Parquet crochet Stitch is a free crochet stitch tutorial by Nana’s Crafty Home!
The easy, beginner-friendly parquet crochet stitch is a simple two-row repeat that would be perfect for blankets and so much more.
I will be releasing the Winter’s Night Rhapsody Blanket as a crochet a long in 4 parts in just a few days and the parquet crochet stitch is one of the first stitches you will find in this design.
I will be releasing each crochet stitch tutorial as the part of the blanket design gets released.
Parquet Crochet Stitch Details
I really do love this crochet stitch that uses just single crochet, double crochet and chains to create a fun and interesting fabric.
Essentially the Parquet crochet stitch has one row of single crochet stitches with chains worked over skipped stitches and then in the next row clusters of 3 dc stitches are worked together in the single crochet stitches from the previous row, skipping over the chain spaces. So easy!
You can find the photo tutorial plus the complete written pattern instructions including stitch multiples below at the bottom of this post.
