Learn how to crochet the Offset V-stitch with this complete photo and video tutorial by Nana’s Crafty Home!
I have always been a big fan of the V-stitch and have used it in many other projects. This V-stitch variation utilizes a unique stitch placement to create a completely different look.
With a standard double crochet V-stitch, you would work the V-stitch in the ch 1 space from the previous row’s V-stitch. With this variation, you are skipping the first dc and ch 1 sp of the V-stitch from the previous row and working into the 2nd dc of the V-stitch group. This slight variation provides lovely drape and a more open stitch.
