Crochet Christmas Tree Wall hanging pattern

Today Danita from Stitches & Rows is here with her free crochet Christmas Tree Wall Hanging Decor pattern!  This simple single crochet tapestry color work pattern will work up quickly and is a great project for a tapestry newbie!

The Tapestry Crochet Christmas Tree Rustic Wall Hanging exudes the quintessential charm of a cozy, rustic homespun holiday. Featuring an evergreen tree set against a serene, off-white backdrop, evoking the purity of winter’s first snow. The tree, rich in a deep forest green, stands out as a symbol of life and resilience amidst the quiet hush of the colder months.

Adding the perfect finishing touch is the fringe of vibrant, cranberry red, reminiscent of holly berries peeking through a winter landscape, bringing a pop of color to the crochet Christmas Tree wall hanging.

This wall hanging blends traditional craft with modern simplicity, making it a versatile addition to any space. Whether it’s gracing the walls of a rustic cabin or adding a touch of handcrafted elegance to a contemporary apartment, this wall hanging embodies the joyous spirit of the Christmas season. It’s a reminder of quiet moments by the fire, the soft crunch of snow underfoot, and the shared joy of festive gatherings.

Crochet Tree Wall Decor Pattern Details

Today I am sharing a crocheted Christmas tree with a rustic look for your living room or even your kitchen to spread a little Christmas joy. You can sit by the fire and create this beautiful tapestry.  It is a beginner friendly pattern that can be made in one weekend.

Danita’s Christmas crochet tree wall hanging is made with the single crochet tapestry technique. If you aren’t familiar with this wonderful crochet color work technique I have a complete Tapestry crochet photo and video tutorial to help you along.

The Christmas Tree Wall Hanging uses Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick* which is a super bulky acrylic/wool blend. If you substitute with a lighter worsted weight yarn then your finished size would be smaller.

Since this Christmas Tree crochet pattern wall hanging is made with super bulky yarn it will work up so quickly. Featuring a bright pop of color boho inspired fringe which is optional.
