Measure 2” from arm hole on shoulder and place stitch markers through back and front panel on both sides of vest. From WS of vest, sew seam together using desired method (I used the mattress seam) from arm hole to stitch marker on both sides.

With RS facing, attach yarn to bottom of arm hole, ch 1, sc evenly around each arm hole. This will give the arm hole a little more stability.

With RS facing, hdc evenly around top of front panels around neck.

Fasten off.
Weave in ends.
