Learn how to crochet the Larksfoot Crochet Stitch with this complete photo & video tutorial by Nana’s Crafty Home!
The Larksfoot Crochet Stitch Tutorial is part of the Spring Rhapsody Blanket CAL stitch tutorial series.
The tutorial for the Larksfoot Stitch is the first tutorial for Part 2 of the Spring Rhapsody Blanket. This unique stitch looks so much like a bird’s foot – the reason for its name. Since the Spring Rhapsody Blanket is all about spring and I know that one of my very favorite things about spring is watching the birds – I knew this stitch had to make an appearance in my stitch sampler blanket!
This stitch is especially eye-catching when worked in contrasting colors – it really shows off that long double crochet that is dropped into the previous row. Gorgeous!
