Supplies
Your favorite yarn (I used a Size 4 weight acrylic yarn)
Hook size to match yarn weight (I am using a size G 4.0 mm crochet hook)
Abbreviations:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
sk = skip
Multiples: chain any even number of chains
For sample shown I am starting with a chain of 36
Row 1: (1 sc, 1 dc) in 2nd ch from hook, *sk 1 ch, (1 sc, 1 dc) in next ch,* repeat between * * to last 2 ch, sk 1 ch, 1 sc in last ch. Turn.
Row 2: ch 1, (1 sc, 1 dc) in same st, sk next st, *(1 sc, 1 dc) in next st, sk next st,* repeat between * * to end, 1 sc in last st. Turn.
Continue repeating row 2 to desired size.
