For this stitch you are dropping your puff stitch into a previous row. The best thing about how this stitch is worked is that it looks basically the same from front or back – no wrong side with this stitch! Perfect for blankets!

Supplies:
Paintbox Cotton Aran yarn in Dolphin Blue & Bubblegum Pink
Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook
Abbreviations:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
st = stitch
Special Stitches:
Drop Puff Stitch: *yo, insert hook into base of next dc st, yo, pull up a loop,* repeat between * * 3 times (9 loops on hook), yo, pull through 8 loops, yo, pull through remaining 2 loops.
Multiples: stitch is worked in multiples of 4 for the foundation chain
For sample shown I am chaining a total of 28
Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each of the remaining chains to end. Turn. (27)
Row 2: ch 3 (counts as 1st st), 1 dc in each st to end. (27)
Row 3: ch 3, dc in next 2 st, *1 Drop Puff Stitch (see special stitches section above) in next st (base of next dc st), dc in next 3 st,* repeat between * * to end. Turn.
