This tutorial is the last stitch tutorial in the Autumn Rhapsody Blanket Stitch Tutorial Series! If you would like to learn more about that stitch sampler style Fall themed blanket you can find all the details HERE.

This is a fun little border that would work well with a variety of different projects. Very simple, elegant and pretty – it creates just the right amount of texture and visual interest. Perfect for a simple blanket edging.

The square shown is made with the Sedge Stitch with a foundation chain of 29. I have also worked 1 round of single crochet evenly around the outside edge before beginning the Bobble Shell Stitch border. I do recommend a simple round of stitches worked into the edge of your project first before working the Bobble Shell Stitch border. You will be much happier with your finished project! If you are interested in learning more about this stitch you can find the written instructions, photo & video tutorial HERE.
