How to Make the Crochet Pan Protectors
For the full written pattern instructions for the Flower Power Pan Protectors, scroll down below. You can purchase the ad-free PDF of this pattern set for a small fee. Or, become a Lifetime Member and never pay for a PDF again!

1. Instructions are provided for 5 different sizes but these pot protectors are so easy to resize!
2. Sizes S-XLG of these pretty pot protectors start with 2 rounds of double crochet in a circle. The XXLG size starts with 3 rounds of double crochet increases.

3. The sizes are adjusted by making larger “petals” for the different sizes.
4. Round 3 is the base for each of the flower petals. In order to customize the size of your petals you can adjust the chain to any odd number of chains. Chain the number of chains for the size you wish to make and then work 3 slip stitches in between each petal.

5. The final round is working into those chains made in the previous round. You will work a double crochet stitch in an equal number of chains on each side of the petal while working a 2 dc increase in five of the chains at the top of the petal. In between petals you will work in the middle slip stitch before repeating the same steps for the next petal. Repeat around.

6. I have a complete video tutorial to walk you through each step of this pot protector!
I hope you enjoy making these crochet protectors for your pots and pans!

These crochet pan protectors can be made with cotton or acrylic yarn. I used a 100% cotton yarn for mine but since these won’t be exposed to a high heat situation you could use any yarn you have on hand. A great stash busting project!
