Made with Red Heart Super Saver** you will have so many colors to choose from! If you have a horse lover, leave off the horn and make in horse colors for another great option.

Unicorn C2C Scarf
Pattern Written in US crochet terminology
Supplies:
1 Red Heart Super Saver White 7 oz / 60 – 80 yds (w)
1 Red Heart Super Saver Grenadine 7 oz / 100 – 120 yds (p)
Small amount of Red Heart Super Saver Black (b)
Small amount of Red Heart Super Saver Bright Yellow (y)
Small amount of Red Heart Super Saver Shocking Pink for mane fringe
Small amount of Red Heart Super Saver Aruba Sea for mane fringe
Size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook

Approximate finished size:
Adult: 50” long x 5” wide (main body of scarf) 10” (including unicorn head)
Child: 45” long x 5” wide (main body of scarf) 10” (including unicorn head)
Toddler: 40” long x 4 1/2” wide (main body of scarf) 8 1/2” (including head)
Gauge: each square = 3/4”, 4” = 4 squares + 1 dc

To make a half square with corner to corner technique:
After you have done your sl st into the turning ch 3 of the block, you will dc 3 in the corner of the block you are working instead of working 3 dc into the ch 3 as you would normally.
Horn (Make 2)
With color y:
Row 1: ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch to end. Turn. (3)
Row 2: ch 1, sc in same st and in each st to end. Turn (3)
Row 3: ch 1, sc dec over 1st two st, sc in last st. Turn (2)
Row 4: ch 1, sc in each st to end. Turn (2)
Row 5: Repeat row 4
Row 6: ch 1, sc dec over 2 st. Turn (1)
Row 7: ch 1, sc in only st. (1)
Fasten off leaving long end for sewing. Sew horns together and onto unicorn head where desired.
Eye
With color b, Magic circle, 6 sc in circle, sl st to first st.
Fasten off, leaving end long enough for sewing. Sew to unicorn head where desired. Embroider 3 eyelashes over eye.
Fringe:
Make fringe by wrapping desired colors of yarn around a piece of cardboard approximately 6” wide. With 8 strands of yarn, add fringe to top of white rows on both sides of scarf.
Attach head, eye and horn to scarf as shown below:
