Learn how to crochet the Tunisian Purl Stitch with this complete photo & video tutorial by Nana’s Crafty Home!
With my first Tunisian Crochet pattern releasing soon, I wanted to get some tutorials out so you can practice and learn before the pattern releases. And I am really excited that we are branching out into Tunisian Crochet!
The Tunisian Crochet Purl Stitch looks very much like the standard Knit Purl stitch. The Tunisian Crochet Purl Stitch has a lot of drape and pairs really well with other Tunisian Crochet stitches – especially those that are prone to curling. This stitch doesn’t curl at all and will tame the curl of other stitches it is paired with.
I love how this stitch pairs with the Tunisian Knit Stitch and it definitely helps the curling of that stitch. I have a hat releasing later in the week which uses both the Tunisian Knit and Tunisian Purl stitches together to create a ribbed edge and it looks fantastic!
