For my crochet friends outside the United States, get creative with your colors and how you work your hat. For the Australian flag you could make your hat body blue, hat band white and the brim red. Add the stars all over the main body of the hat to be more in keeping with your flag. So many different options!
I am including instructions for both a no-sew and sew nose option. For the no-sew nose you will be working a bobble stitch for the nose while working the beard. So easy!
