The Sea Shells by the Sea Shore Market Bag is a fun pattern that has a unique look provided by the shell like puff stitch! Easy and works up quickly! This bag will be your summer beach or market place go-to bag!
Approximately 14” tall (without handles) x 15” wide.
Pattern as written will accommodate the older Caron Cotton Cakes yardage with 2 balls. If you would like to use the new Caron Cotton Cakes with more yardage you would be able to make the bag larger and add rounds to the sides of the bag with just 1 of the cakes.
Bag is worked in the round in one piece. The sides of the bag are a 4 row repeat.
Stitches used are double crochet, single crochet and puff stitch. The unique shell like appearance of the puff stitch is made by working over a previous double crochet. A fun and unique puff stitch!
