This stitch tutorial is the fifth in my Autumn Rhapsody Blanket CAL tutorial series. We are now working our way through Part 2 of the blanket!

If you missed any of the previous stitch tutorials for Part 1, you can find them at the following links:

If you would like to learn more about the Autumn Rhapsody Blanket CAL which is a free pattern at Nana’s Crafty Home you can find it HERE.

This stitch is so beautiful and unique! Worked over several stitches, keeping loops on our hook throughout and then pulling a loop through at the end creates a very stunning stitch. When worked in fall colors, it really does look like a leaf!

I am providing a complete video tutorial for this stitch which you can find at the bottom of this post. Subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you never miss a new video!

The Drop Leaf st. is so beautiful that I’m considering a lapghan of just the leaf stitches in autumn colors for the nursing homes. Thank you for SHARING your design talent. You keep me crocheting (at 79 yrs old).
