Do you have any Lion Brand Mandala cakes waiting for a project?  Since I have been sharing my love of Lion Brand Mandala yarn with my own crochet designs I thought it would be great to gather other designer’s patterns featuring this fabulous yarn and include a few of my own in case you are new to my blog.  I wanted to showcase as many colors as I could in this roundup so you could see them worked in a project as well.  The best part is that each of these patterns are free!

Just click on the link provided to take you directly to the pattern.

Crochet Poncho by Crochet Therapy

This pretty Poncho by Andrea at Crochet Therapy is open and lacy — would be perfect for a cool spring evening!  And the color — Spirit — is one of my absolute favorites!

The Madeline Triangle Scarf by Ginger Knots

The Madeline Triangle Scarf by Courtney of Ginger Knots is made with just one cake!  Features the Moss stitch and it would be a great mindless project as the pattern repeats throughout.  Courtney also included a video tutorial to help with the stitch.  The colorway Genie is another fav!

Pegasus Mandala Crochet Vest by Hooked on Homemade Happiness

The Pegasus Mandala Crochet Vest pattern by Breann at Hooked on Homemade Happiness is light and open enough to be worn in warmer weather.  Made as a large circle so no sewing!  This picture is inspiring me to use the colorway Pegasus as well — I have certainly neglected it!

Orchid Lace Afghan Pattern by Crocheting Crazy

The Orchid Lace Afghan Pattern by Courtney at Crocheting Crazy was actually designed with another yarn entirely but when she found the Mandala yarn she knew it was a match!  The vibrant greens and yellows in the Valkyrie colorway make a great baby blanket, too!

Wrap Me in Diamonds Scarf by Stitching Together

The Wrap Me in Diamonds Scarf by Jessica at Stitching Together is just lovely using the Diamond Lace Stitch.  Jessica also included a link to a video tutorial to explain the stitch.  Made in the Warlock colorway just gorgeous!

Waves of Enchantment Scarf by the Stitchin Mommy

The Waves of Enchantment Scarf by Amy at the Stitchin Mommy in the Wizard colorway is so colorful, bright and happy!

Remixed Triangle Scarf by Olive + Brook

Love this asymmetrical Remixed Triangle Scarf by Acquanetta at Olive + Brook which is so open and lacy.  The Unicorn colorway is so girly and pretty!

Free Crochet pattern cowl

Sassy Autumn Ribbed Crochet Cowl

The Sassy Autumn Ribbed Crochet Cowl by yours truly has so much texture and will really keep you warm on those cold winter nights!  I have included video tutorials explaining the front and back post double crochet as well as a tutorial explaining how to fold and finish your cowl as well.  If I had to pick a favorite colorway I think Sphinx would be my choice.

Curly Cute Cowl in Lion Brand Mandala Chimera

Curly Cute Cowl in Chimera

The Curly Cute Cowl by yours truly is a funky and unique piece using only one cake and it has a lot of texture featuring the back loop only double crochet.  There is a video tutorial explaining the stitch as well as a complete video tutorial from start to finish! The Chimera colorway is so pretty!

On the Town Capelet crochet pattern

On the Town Capelet

The Night on the Town Capelet by yours truly is a classy way to warm yourself on a cool evening.  Using the back loop only and made in only one piece it is easy enough for a beginner.  What a great addition to prom night!  I used the new colorway Mermaid and I am in love!!!

Happy crocheting, friends!
