The Bodacious Crochet Bobble Headband is a free crochet pattern by Nana’s Crafty Home!
This bobble headband is so cool with awesome texture provided by big fat bobbles!
This headband works up so quickly in super bulky yarn – perfect for last minute gifts. I had so much fun designing this pattern. I adore knobby texture in my crochet and this project has that in spades! Simple crochet stitches throughout – just single and double crochets create this textured delight!
The headband is crocheted right onto the wood ring – no sewing necessary for this project! However, if you prefer you could certainly skip the ring and sew the ends together. You will need to work a few more rows in order to reach the same size as the ring does add length. I purchased my rings at Amazon and they were pretty inexpensive – less than $1.00 per ring!
I used Lion Brand’s Hometown yarn* which is a super bulky yarn with a subtle sheen. That soft sheen really lets those bobbles shine! And because it is super bulky, this headband works up so quickly.
