Week in Review at Nana’s Crafty Home September 24, 2017
Another busy week here at Nana’s Crafty Home! I have a new record of 4 posts this week! I am trying to get into a pattern of working away from home, working at home, keeping my life and home together and still being crochet creative. A challenge to be sure. I am really excited about some of my upcoming patterns so be sure to check back and if you are interested in getting sneak peeks you can check me out every Friday at 4 pm CST during my Facebook Live events. Hope to see you there!
This week at Nana’s Crafty Home
This week I shared my review of Lion Brand Mandala yarn. I will be doing a series of yarn reviews featuring yarns I have used extensively and my impressions of them as well as the complete breakdown of the yarn — care instructions, weight, yardage, etc. I hope you will find them helpful.
I also shared my latest pattern the Grapevine Lap Afghan. I absolutely love this pattern made with one of my favorite stitches and it is so bright and cheerful. An easy pattern to follow and certainly easy enough for a beginner! I also made this in the Yarn Bee Sugarwheel Go Go Cocoa — LOVE!
Since I added fringe to my afghan I did a photo step by step and video tutorial for instructions. Hope you found it helpful!
My most popular post this week has still been the Sassy Autumn Ribbed Cowl. If you haven’t made this yet you must — a beautiful piece!
What have I been pinning this week?
I have been getting a lot of inspiration from Pinterest this week — lots of hats, scarves and warm ponchos hitting my feed. Everyone getting ready for colder weather and Christmas giving, I’m sure.
I came across this lovely blanket by Jessica at Skein and Hook and I am sure I will have this pattern on my hook at some point — so pretty!
My granddaughter, Sarah, is obsessed by bears and when I came across this one by Sarah at Repeat Crafter Me I knew she would love it. Best thing — made with new Caron Sprinkle Cakes! So cute!
Have a wonderful week full of crochet and yarn!
